William C. Rush, C.F.E., President of Phoenix Loss Control, Inc., graduated from the University of Arizona and after graduation moved to Colorado with his family. In Lakewood, Colorado he began work with the Lakewood Police Department as a police officer, detective and Sergeant. Bill also worked with MediaOne and AT&T Broadband in audit and compliance as a Senior Audit Manager.

Cathy L. Barna, Vice President of Phoenix Loss Control, Inc, graduated from the University of Nebraska and moved on to Colorado where she worked for 30 years in the Bell companies: Mountain Bell, US West, MediaOne, AT&T Broadband and Comcast. While with AT&T Broadband, Cathy created the Outside Plant Damage recovery program which was implemented corporate-wide.

Together, Bill and Cathy created Phoenix Loss Control, Inc., a grassroots and growing outside plant damage recovery business. With our corporate experience in audit and compliance, as well as creating and implementing the recovery program, Bill and Cathy bring real-world experience and success to the client’s organization.
